I am Zekun Li, a forth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), advised by Professors William Wang and Xifeng Yan at UCSB NLP Group. My research primarily focuses on developing controllable language model agents for conversation, reasoning, planning, and tool use in complex tasks and scenarios.
I have interned at Microsoft Research (2023), Meta Reality Labs (2023), and Google Deepmind Gemini Team (2024). I am honored to have been selected as a recipient of the 2024 J.P. Morgan PhD Fellowship Award (around 10 recipients each year).
